Starbucks ☕

Here is how my love for Starbuck's started:

Early 90s, Mike and I used to go with Mal in the stroller. We both always got coffee & a pastry. Occasionally, my mom would babysit so Mike and I could grab a coffee and have some alone time,

Then one night we went with Mal but, I didn't want a pastry, Mike was shocked as I was. We left and I grabbed a bag of salt & vinegar chips to eat on the way home. When we started to walk up Cypress I had to give him the stroller because I had shortness of breath. I knew then, for sure, that I was pregnant. Mike went to CVS and got 2 tests & yessa I was pregnant; he had no rxn, because ... you all know why. Every time I am at Starbucks I think of my Mack; he too, would love Starbucks and would so humbly and gratefully ask me for $$ so he could go to Starbucks, with his friends after school, I told him yes, but that he needed to go to the one on Palm because that's where his Dad and I were right before I found out that I was pregnant with him.

I started Woodbury University in the fall of 1997, finishing my degree in Psych & Business Mgmnt. My first class was an intro class to business taught by an LAPD Officer. Best class ever! We had to choose a company then give an  innovative class presentation. One gal chose Starbucks; she brought in a few air pots of Starbucks, cups so while she presented we got to drink Starbucks; best presentation ever. This is how I learned about Howard Shultz and how the company was started.

My favorite place, in the entire world (at least one of them) is at a Starbucks; reminds me of school, Mike & the kids, finding out that I am pregnant, etc

So, Starbucks has these little to go instant packages. I highly recommend them. Should you get stucks with office coffee or coffee that is not up to snuff, just add one of these and oila, yummy, yummy coffee! Great when you're traveling, as well.
