I was in the 10% 😭
I took it personally. All my hard work recognized by ... God, is how I'm processing it.
- Free tutoring for students
- Study guides without students asking
- Showing up early & staying late at teaching jobs
- Working thru my breaks & lunch
- Buying supplies for Mack & Mallory's classes
- Volunteer work
- Bake sales
- Playing teacher in the Amnesty program but being paid as a T.A.
- Sending at least 10 AA people back to school for their GED.; changing the opportunities in their life
- Training people
- Editing papers for ESL college students
- Being a TA countless times for little pay
- Staying up half the night teaching & helping my kids
- Buying Merck Manuals & PDRs for my graduating pharmacy students
- Posting laminated Wash Your Hand signs around Burbank bathrooms during the Hep A breakout
- Buying children's voting coloring books & crayons when I worked the polls to keep them occupied while their parents voted.
- Writing resumes and letters of recommendations for people for free ... etc, etc
Thank you God for recognizing & validating my lifetime efforts; iniatied by Det. G. with my Dad's work ethic.
